Strategies for Beginners
This is for BEGINNERS ONLY! If you are more skilled, then either leave or go to the ADVANCED SECTION.
1. BE AGGRESIVE- It has been shown to work. Although risky, when one persons eliminated, and your opponent only has one or two balls, you will be guaranteed to win (assuming you use official rules).
2. PUT EXTRA BALLS WISELY- A new rule has just been up. Now you must plan wisely where you put your extra balls are. Put it in an defensive position, like in between two balls on the side, next to a ball, and the rails next to a ball.
3. BREAKING (Beginners)- Crack in the middle. This will ensure hitting the front with precision. If you are more skilled, then go to the advanced section of the strategies, and those strategies will help you. Try to make a ball in, so you can have control of the game. By the way, this strategy has been proven to work for all games like 9-ball and 8-ball and straight pool.
4. TAKE YOUR TIME- You will be ensured to more accuracy. Pool is not a game of rushing.

Strategies for Experts
1. BE THE CONTENDER/AGGRESSOR- Same as the first strategy, except more aggresive.
2. AT TIMES, TRY DEFENDING YOUR BALLS- If your ball is by a pocket, and it's your turn, try getting it out. You will sacrifice a turn for another round of survival unless your opponents are highly skilled. You don't have to always attack in this game. Sometimes, it can be fun defending your pool balls while the other opponents try annihalating each other.
3. BREAKING (Experts)- Break in the middle, or break in the side. Sometimes, this works, as the angle of the cue ball may align with the opposite far corner (left side turns to right side) and this will make that ball go in.
4. ACCURACY- This will help you a lot, but only if you do this correctly. Like level 2 of take your time. Shoot carefully and pick your shots accordingly. Align your tip to the cue ball as well as possible, as this avoids slips and weird noises not heard in the professionals.
5. POWER CONTROL- This will soon come in handy, not only for this game, for any other game you play. Try to hit it just hard enough, maybe a little harder. Why? So you don't scratch. If you scratch, this may be devastating.
6. "NO MERCY" STRATEGY- Most of the time it doesn't work. If you are skilled enough and probably read this, you are probably ready. Now, no mercy means that you go for anybody, if it's the last thing you'd do.
